Yeah! Sunny Day.....

Today we all got up with hopes of sun and warmth. Not so much warmth but SUN! And it was incredibly foggy til about 10:30, afterwhich the sun began to shine. Great! And it did end up being about 75 today, puh-lease---just some cool weather to wear a sweater in....oh well I'll take the sunshine.
I took the girls to an indoor play yard at the mall. They loved it and they got to burn some energy. That is great news. Then "A" fell asleep in the car before we were even out of the parking lot pretty much and so we went home. She didn't sleep anymore once we were home. So, I let them play outside from 3:00 til almost 6 while I finished dinner, with them in the garage and the door open.
They played numerous games just living it up. I read my book and swept the driveway.
Pretty good day. Crazy mealtime, "A" wouldn't eat her dinner, wouldn't even entertain the thought. She wanted the cornbread but nothing else-sorry. She had to at least take a bite of something else before we handed over the cornbread-she just bawled. She ate nothing. Finally at 8:30 she had a bowl of cereal and some yogurt.
I just couldn't send her to bed hungry. So much for Mrs. Toughguy. But hey, it wasn't goldfish!!!
