Rainy Movie Day

We had to get out today and get some scenery! It has rained for two days. Which is alot when everyone is home and and the big one is off school.....need I say more. Somehow it is a punishment to stay home with us.
I took all three kids to the dollar movies (actually 1.50 now) to see Monster House. They liked it. "A" sat in my lap the whole time and "R" said she wanted to go home a few times, but ended up really liking it saying at the end very loudly "I don't think any of that is going to come to my bad dreams afterall." All said and done 3 sodas, and a bag of popcorn later everything was good.
Funny. We saw a million people there we knew, everyone had the same idea.
The kids aren't going to my in-laws too much old people trouble to have the kids too, plus my MIL is on crutches. So... oh well, we were looking forward to some time, but what are you going to do.
Reagan is doing great with her school work and is reading short a,e,i,o,and u books. She is really progressing, pretty fun for me since it is at my hand that she is actually doing IT! I keep an assignment book with different things for us to do each day to keep on track and it helps. I put down goals for the week and we can start with that and expand on it however we need to.
