Weekly Rambling

This week has been crazy. I have worked alot, cleaned alot, and read alot. I got into a book and couldn't put it down. "Even Now" by Karen Kingsbury, so good!!!! I have had a hard time getting into books lately with so much on mind, and really not alot of free "me" time, what with the hubby constantly home.... but I got involved in this one and loved it, flew through it. I love everything she writes especially "One Tuesday Morning" about 911, so good. I am making a change of pace and reading David Baldacci, whom I also love, "The Christmas Train".
I am loving this weather and am hoping this weekend to take a pumpkin train ride with the kids and go to a pumpkin patch with a maze and everything. We love doing that, hopefully some friends can go. I am cherishing my friends so much now, not taking them for granted. Any one of us could move or god forbid something else and we would miss them soooo much. Enjoy those around you that you love NOW while you can, we don't know what tomorrow brings.
T is driving us crazy and is coming home to us today, in a few minutes and I am just a wreck. I don't look forward to her room becoming a disaster area, the rude comments, the eye rolling, the provacative clothing (which by the way she can make seemingly innocent clothing that I buy turn cheap looking somehow, a teen trick she must have learned at "Teen Schoool" I think) the phone ringing off the hook, and having to police the phone, computer and TV like a cop involved in major surveillance 24/7. You know how the stake out guys always look--old fast food wrappers around them, water weight gain, bags under eyes, restless look in their eye waiting for the slightest chance to "move in", and coffee breath. Okay, well, yeah.....you get my point.
